In the past month, I have started a real job (woohoo!), skiied down Iowan mountains hills, braved the 0's and 10's without a long underwear layer, and found myself going for a walk on lunch break because it just feels so good outside now that it is finally in the 30's and sunny. Crazy. I don't think I would have done anything other than sprint from my car to the door if it was in the 30's in Fort Worth! It is amazing how much your body is able to adjust.
Life is good here---Jeremy is 1800 pages, 1/4 of the way into his syllabus for his biggest class and takes his 2nd exam on it this week. Study, study, study. Thank goodness for Friday night dates and dinners together :). We had a mini vacation to Dubuque for Valentine's Day & went skiing together for the first time (Jeremy's 1st time skiing since a trip in 6th grade). We also attended the "Christa Gala" with med school friends and are attempting to start our first small group.
Much Love from the Land of Corn,
